Masai Mara, Kenya
An incredibly diverse and popular safari destination, Kenya’s Masai Mara is a check-off any nature lover’s bucket list. This area is home to the “big five” animals- the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo.
The protected National park area is vast and spans over 1500 square kilometers of grassland and plains- all the way to Serengeti. Go on safari to find the big five in their natural habitat. It’s also best time your visit during the migrations to see the animals cross from one feeding area to another.
Hanoi, Vietnam
Hanoi is knee-deep in history and charm, that it is easy to forget that its history was once turbulent. It may seem dizzying at first, with its large population and an incredible number of motorbikes-but visitors will find that there is a calm in all of Hanoi’s chaos.
We’d consider Hanoi as one of the best vacation destinations for anyone, but most especially for foodies. A charming food city that serves you its story in a bowl. Hanoi’s dishes represent either a story of struggle or celebration. The French-era buildings are contrasted by the bright colors prevalent in Vietnamese design. The visuals mark this place as the most unique melting pot of two cultures that are so opposed, yet at home in Hanoi.
Hong Kong
Sometimes called Asia’s Manhattan – Hong Kong is what happens when Chinese culture meets British colonial history. This is the only place where you’ll spot double-decker buses drive by tea houses and past modern construction clad in bamboo scaffolding. A fusion of new and old, the amalgamation of these two cultures makes for a very interesting trip to this small area that’s home to the most expensive real estate in the world.
Divided into two parts, Hong Kong Island and Kowloon – with great views and eats on either side. Take the ferry across Victoria harbour at sunset and watch Hong Kong’s signature skyline come alive.
